Maryland governor Larry Hogan sports new Hair-look
Last month, Maryland governor Larry Hogan shared that he has been diagnosed with late stage non-Hodgkins lymphoma and has been starting chemotherapy without any delay. Two chemo sessions have been done and now he is sporting a new look in which he has shaved off all his hair.
He posted his new look on Facebook and said, It looks like there is another white dome in the Annapolis State House!" He said that he is saving time for not requiring to wash or comb his hair and also affirmed that he does not even need to shave his face.
Hogan said that he was bit shocked with the new look, but for him, bald is beautiful. Hogan said that he might have lost his hair, but is happy that he is winning battle against cancer. Just six months after taking office, Hogan was diagnosed with the cancer in June.
It is great that Hogan has remained positive with regard to hair loss, but such courage cannot be shown by every cancer patient. Women are especially more conscious about their look. Carol Stover a volunteer for the American Cancer Society Look Good, Feel Better programs, said, "Cancer is such a deeply personal experience for everybody who goes through it. And he's a public figure. So he's making his personal experience and his personal journey with this available to all of us, which I think is kind of brave".
