A giant spider web about half a mile long is not something that you see every day. North Memphis, Tennessee residents are scared as millions of spiders have invaded the place. A number of people reported that they saw giant spider web in their yards.

As per a report of The Washington Post, residents are reporting there are millions of little black spiders in huge spider webs that are expanding in every direction. North Memphis residents are seeking help to get rid of this giant web. Many people are concerned that the presence of spiders could be dangerous for their kids.

While talking about the spider webs, a resident of North Memphis, Frances Ward, said when she got up a morning, there were many spiders on her door. It was horrifying to see them, she added. Debra Lewis, a friend of Ward, said, “You can’t even sit in her house because they’re all on the wall, on the door. We’ve been killing spiders for about an hour now”.

Riechart, who saw photos of the web, said the presence of giant web is surprising, but there is no need to get into panic. The little creature’s mouth is not so huge to bite a human or break the skin and a spider can only harm through its bite, Riechart added.
