Caldwell Banker Weir Manuel sales associate Kenan Bakirci said the home once owned by Motown Records founder Berry Gordy Jr. will be listed as soon as Monday, The Detroit News has reported. The newspaper further said that unofficially, the asking price for the 10,000-square foot home is $1.395 million.
It is currently owned by Cynthia Reaves, who also had a luminous guest list, including then-Sen. Barack Obama, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
It has also been reported that Gordy Jr.'s guest lists at the Venetian Renaissance-style home included the greats of the Motown label, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder among them.
