London - West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola has agreed to extend his contract with the Premier League club. Chief executive Scott Duxbury told Sky News that the Italian will sign a new four-year deal, together with his assistant Steve Clarke.

The pair are expected to put pen to paper on the contracts over the weekend.

West Ham sit seventh in the Premier League, on course to win a place in the UEFA Europa League next season.(dpa)
