Mahindra Satyam fears losing overseas employees

mahindrasatyamAfter the M&M Group faced certain difficulties in retaining the Satyam's domestic employees, the company is now cautious as it fears losing crucial overseas staff as the global tech market is now witnessing a revival. While the company is now moving its key employees over various markets such as US and UK, the company also expects the appraisals to hold the employees back in the company.

Notably, Mahindra Group acquired Satyam Computer Services after the Chairman Ramalinga Raju confessed the fraud he committed in inflating the books of accounts last year.

The current level of attrition in the company stands at around the 30% level and the spokesperson has declined of the company worrying about it going over. However, sources in the company mentioned the fact that it will be rotating its 'on-site employees' over various key positions in markets like US and UK and hence may result in the low attrition levels.

Experts believe that the attrition rates touched a 30-40% level in 2009 but the outgoing has been dipping since then due to the unexpected rounds of hikes the company offered to the employees.
