Luger asks Obama to “woo” Zardari to share secrets, ensure safety of Pak nukesWashington May 7 : Concerned by reports of an imminent threat to Pakistan's nuclear arsenal from the Taliban, US Senator Richard Luger has asked President Obama to force Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari to ensure the safety of the nukes.

According to The Nation, Senate foreign committee member, Luga, r urged Obama to ask Zardari to step up security for Pakistan's nuclear facilities.

Luger said the international community is concerned about the safety of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, especially after reports of the Taliban inching closer towards the federal capital Islamabad.

"Obama must make sure the security matters of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal come up for discussion during his meet with president Zardari," he said.

Luger also called Obama to woo Zardari for an extended cooperation in sharing the details of Pakistan's nuclear capability with the United States. (ANI)
