Lindsay pokes fun at tabloid gossip in spoof dating ad
Washington, April 15 : Lindsay Lohan has taken a dig at her “tabloid-created” wildchild reputation, along with her recently single status, making it the subject of a spoof dating advert.
The actress has been making consistent headlines owing to her troubled personal life, DUI arrests and a string of stints in rehab.
The singer, who recently split with her lesbian lover Samantha Ronson, has now churned tabloid gossip into funny material for the Will Ferrell''s comedy website FunnyOrDie. com.
"Hi, my name''s Lindsay and I''m searching for love. I''m recently single, I think, and I''m looking for someone I can spend the rest of my life with - or, at least, the rest of my probation with,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying in the spoof.
"A little bit about me... I''m an actress, a singer, an entrepreneur, and I have single-handedly kept 90 per cent of all gossip sites in business. I would define my personality as creative, a little bit of a night owl, a workaholic, shopaholic, and according to the state of California, an alcoholic, as well as a threat to all security guards if they work at hotels.
"And to put all those rumours to rest, I am not broke. I actually have over 400 dollars in the bank...
"I''m looking for a compatible mate who''s looking for a night on the town, as long as he or she is driving of course; likes ankle monitoring bracelets, and doesn''t have family members quick to issue restraining orders...
"So if you think you can handle a redhead with a bit of sass... and by that I mean a redhead who''s crazy - I mean, don''t pretend like you don''t know me, you''ve all read about it - we''ll crash a few parties, a car or two... You can find me on the cover of Us Weekly, ''cause I''m ''so alone''," she added. (ANI)
