Kylie Minogue snubs Becks’ footie invite for Alicia Keys’ gig
London, Dec 9 : Aussie pop singer Kylie Minogue has snubbed a personal invitation from footie star David Beckham in favour of an Alicia Keys gig instead.
Minogue had been invited by Beckham to watch him play a friendly match for LA Galaxy in the New Zealand city of Auckland on December 6, and he had even offered her good seats.
But the singer, who just landed a 674,000 pounds deal to record a song for the soundtrack of Bollywood film ‘Blue’, chose to attend Keys’ gig at the Vector Arena.
“Kylie loves David and is a mate of Victoria but she so rarely gets to see top-name performers in action that she jumped at the chance to see Alicia,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. (ANI)
