Kohli leads India to win over New Zealand

Virat KohliVirat Kohli led India to an emphatic win over New Zealand by 7-wickets in a must win match as now Indian team still have chances to make into the final of the four nation 'Emerging Players' tournament.

New Zealand got to a bad start as Raval and Martin Guptill got out for just 11 runs on the board after India won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat first in Brisbane on Thursday.

New Zealand captain Peter Fulton took charge and put up a hundred run partnership with Williamson, which was broken by Abhishek Nayar.

Fulton (122) scored a brilliant ton as New Zealand finished their inning at the score of 228 runs in 50 overs.

Sangwan picked up 5 wickets for 40 runs in his 10 overs while Nayar chipped in with 2-39.

Chasing the target of 229 runs, opener Murali Vijay and Indian skipper S Badrinath went cheaply but Ajinkya Rahane (95 from 113 balls) and Virat Kohli (115 from 108 balls) shared a partnership of  205 run to insure win of their team.
