Kings XI Punjab might sold soon, making Preity a rich woman

Preity ZintaThere is buzz in the market that the Kings XI Punjab, the IPL team playing from the side of Punjab, is going to be sold off by its existing owners.

The sale will take place after the IPL-3 season is over and it will be more than the current value of the team. It is worth Rs. 1,000 crore.

The current owners are looking for a consortium which would buy the company. Earlier, it was reported that Venugopal Dhoot, of Videocon was interested in the team. But he rubbished the claims.

There are also reports that Saif and Kareena Kapoor, are interest in the team. They are going to form a consortium and buy the team before the IPL-4 season begins.

They had earlier gone for the Pune team, but failed to buy it out.

Also there was news that Yuvraj Singh was not interest for playing form the King's side. It was said that since he was dumped as a captain, he was thinking of such a move.

King's is currently owned by Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, Bombay Dyeing's Ness Wadia, Dabur's Mohit Burman and Apeejay Surendra Group's Karan Paul.
