New York, February 14 : Kim Kardashian and Kanye West forced an airplane full of travelers to wait for takeoff at JFK airport after an airline employee allowed them to skip a security checkpoint.

Sources told The New York Post that the celebrity lovebirds - who were running late for an American Airlines flight - was ushered around a security checkpoint before boarding the plane from New York to Los Angeles on Wednesday.

But airport officials got wind of the special treatment and took them off the plane and screened them privately in an area of the jetway.

The couple was eventually cleared to board but the process delayed the flight by about 50 minutes. (ANI)
