New Delhi - Domestic handset player Karbonn has launched two entry-level smartphones--Karbonn A1+ Super and Karbonn A5 Turbo in the very affordable range.

The Android KitKat operating system phones have been priced at Rs 3,490 and Rs 3,290.

The devices come with Android 4.4 KitKat, 3 megapixel camera, dual SIM support and 8.9 cm touch screen.

Both phones feature 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) displays. Karbonn A1+ Super is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor while the Karbonn A5 Turbo packs a 1GHz processor.

Karbonn, which is the third largest smartphone player in the country, is targetting those customers who want the smartphone experience at an affordable cost.

"Today, a large segment of consumer is shifting from feature phones to smartphones and looks for a smartphone with advanced technology and maximum features at affordable prices," Karbonn Executive Director Shashin Devsare said in a statement.

The company said both the devices cater to the aspirational needs of consumers who look for latest Android experience at affordable cost. (PTI)
