Jon Hamm makes First Red Carpet Appearance since Recent Rehab Stint

American actor Jon Hamm made first read carpet appearance on Wednesday after completing a 30-day rehab program for alcohol abuse.

The 44-year-old actor was looking elegant in form wear and showed his rugged look at a Mad Men event. He was wearing an off-white jacked paired with crisp white shirt, black trousers and black bow tie.

On Tuesday, the television producer confirmed that he has recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. His AMC show Mad Men will start airing his seventh and last part that starts on April 5.

The actors looked happy and healthy at the Black & Red Ball at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, where celebration was on for the show's final seven episodes. He happily posed for pictures and took out time to sign autographs for fans.

He was at the Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut for his 3-day rehabilitation stint. On Wednesday, he gave an interview to Australian magazine TV Week, in which he shared about his stint.

"'Life throws a lot at you sometimes and you have to deal with it as much as you can. That's why you have family and friends and co-workers to help you with that", said Jon. He added that throughout the most recent 24 hour period, he had support of his family members and friends.

He addressed his struggle with alcohol addiction on the AMC show. Jon said that there can be discussions on how much the role is related to his addiction. But he said that he does not have anything to say about that.

For him, it is something for him and his family members and not for public. Jon has been in a long-term relationship with actress Jennifer Westfeldt since 1997.
