John Lennon''s son blasts reports of onstage team-up with step-brother
London, January 31 : Julian Lennon has blasted reports claiming that he and his step-brother Sean were set to take to the stage together in New York.
Fox News columnist Roger Friedman had recently reported that both the Lennon boys were said to have put aside their personal differences to appear at a United Nations event on February 26th titled, UN-Millenium Goal Awards.
But Julian, Lennon''s son with his first wife Cynthia, trashed the story, insisting it to be a figment of the journalist's imagination.
"Sorry to say, but the news today about Sean & I playing together at the UN Awards came directly out of Roger Friedman''s ass!" the Daily Express quoted him as saying on his MySpace. com blog.
"Do they ever tell the truth at FOX? He/they didn''t even attempt to get in touch with either of our reps or the producers of the UN event to find out whether this story was true or not. So you know what they represent," he added.
Despite the differences between the two wives of the late legendary rocker over property issues post his death in 1980, Julian and Sean, have reportedly managed to bond through their common interest in music previously. (ANI)
