Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh has been ranked highest Asian golfer in the latest official rankings which has been issued on Monday.

Jeev, who had withdraw from the BMW International Open in Munich due to rib injury, has been ranked 40th in the world which is one place down from last week's rankings.

JKJ Choi's, US-based Korean who was no 1 in Asia, dropped his ranking to the 43rd place as Jeev comes at the top position among the Asian golfers.

While Jyoti Randhawa of India was ranked at 139 and Arjun Atwal dropped to 276th place as he was out of the action due to injuries.

Shiv Kapur was ranked at 198 after finishing at the tied 8th spot at the BMW International Open in Munich while SSP Chowrasia, who was at tied 21st spot in Munich, was ranked at 403.
