Iraqi ambassador to Lebanon dies of heart attack
Beirut - Iraq's ambassador to Lebanon, Jawad al-Hairi, died during the night of a heart attack, Lebanese local radios said Saturday.
The ambassador died during surgery at Beirut's Clemenceau medical centre where he was admitted after experiencing chest pains, the reports said.
Al-Hairi's body was due to be taken on Monday to the Iraqi city of Najaf al-Ashraf for burial, according to the reports. (dpa)
