IPL chief Modi says he will not quit
The IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi has said that he will stay as the IPL chief. He has informed to the media today that he is not going to resign and the allegations of the financial irregularities are completely baseless. He has denied of quitting and has said that he will prove all reports of the media incorrect and misleading.
Modi will be meeting BCCI former chief and ICC vice-president Sharad Pawar regarding the current controversies. The IPL governing council is also having a discussion on April 26.
Earlier it was reported in the media that Mr. Lalit Modi has to sign off with final of the IPL season 3. But now it has been cleared that there is still a huge lot of drama left in the ongoing controversy.
IT has been clarified by the sources of BCCI that the action will be taken only after the IPL governing council meeting. But the governing body of the BCCI, vice president and Congress MP Rajiv Shukla, Secretary N Srinivasan and board's media and finance committee Director Manohar are against Lalit Modi. They are strongly opposing Modi to continue as the IPL chief.
