Hyderabad-headquartered Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL) has secured a multi-million dollar contract from Malaysia-based inCONTROL Tech (iTEC) for implementing GIS information system for Tonaga National Berhad (TNB), an electric Utility in Malaysia.

The implementation is considered as a part of TNB's long term GIS roll out plan for all their circles nationwide.

Under the arrangement, Infotech and iTEC would offer an SOA (service oriented architecture) based solution for enterprise GIS information to TNB. This implementation would help integrate and streamline business process across various functions with TNB.

According to an official release, the implementation would help integrate and streamline business processes across various functions within TNB.     

However, the company did not disclose any financial detail regarding the deal.   

The scrip of Infotech Enterprises closed today at Rs 179, up 7% compared to previous close of Rs 167.
