India to play New Zealand in warm-up match today  Indian team will face New Zealand in the warm-up match today at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom before the start of the Champions Trophy on September 22. The eight-nation Champions Trophy will be held in South Africa from 22nd September to 5th October.

This warm-up match will provide opportunity to Indian team to adapt themselves with the tough conditions in South Africa. Indian team had failed to deliver their best at the bouncy pitches of South Africa in the past.

But, Indian team will be benefited by their experience in the Indian Premier League (IPL-2) as IPL-2 was played in South Africa in 2009. Indian team had also won the ICC T20 World Cup here in 2007.

Gautam Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar will open Indian inning as Indian aggressive opener Virender Sehwag was ruled out of the Champions Trophy due to shoulder injury. Rahul Dravid, M Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh will provide strength to the middle order.
