India opposes to relocate World Cup matches

India opposes to relocate World Cup matchesInternational Cricket Council (ICC) will take decision on Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) demand of shifting the matches to be played in Pakistan to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in a meeting of the all four hosts of the World Cup 2011, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, in London.

Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) is likely to oppose this demand of PCB and BCCI stand is rarely rejected by ICC.

The meeting between ICC and all four hosts of the World Cup 2011 is being scheduled as Pakistan has threatened to take legal action against ICC.

After terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team, Pakistan was removed as a co-host of the World Cup 2011 due to safety concerns.

ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat said that he is hopeful to find a solution to this problem quickly as less than two years is left in the start of the World Cup 2011.
