India loses to West IndiesThe defending T20 champion India was defeated by West Indies by seven wickets in first match of the super eight round of the ICC T20 World Cup on Friday.

India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first against West Indies.

Indian team got to a bad start as they lost three wickets with just 29 runs on the board. The brilliant innings of Yuvraj Singh (67) and Yusuf Pathan (31) helped India to set a target of 154 for West Indies in 20 overs.

DJ Bravo was most successful bowler for West Indies as he took four wickets and FH Edwards took three wickets against India.

Chasing target of 154, West Indies lost both their openers on the score of 42 but LMP Simmons (44) and DJ Bravo (66) helped West Indies to win the match in 18.4 overs.

DJ Bravo was declared man of the match for his all-round good performance with bat and bowl against India.
