Argentine players were in awesome rhythm and they raced away with the match even when Naveen Raja and Gurinder Singh performed brilliantly with their touch-outs and placements.

Facundo Conte smashed 18 points out of 25 attacks to emerge as top scorer for the Latin American continental champion. Spikers Poglajen (eight) and Pablo Hruby (six) also dominated the game with booming smashes.

Indian coach M. Kumara said that Argentina played brilliantly in the match and Indian team was also having practice game loss in their mind due to which they were unable to perform according to their potential in the match.

The third match will be important for India as if Russia defeat Belgium in straight sets in next match then the all the four team will have one win each. Indian team had won its only match against Russia on Tuesday.
