India crushes Singapore by 10-0

Indian under-21 hockey team captain Diwakar Ram Former champion India has started their campaign by defeating co-host Singapore by 10-0 in the Junior Hockey World Cup at Singapore on Monday.

Indian under-21 hockey team captain Diwakar Ram was the hero of the match as he scored 5 goals in the match against Singapore.

Diwakar scored all the five goals from penalty corners in the 15th, 18th, 29th, 55th and 66th minutes of the match.

Danish Mujtaba scored two goals in fifth and 51st minute, Dharamvir Singh scored one goal in 26th minute, Mandip Antil and Vivek also scored one goal each in 30th and
47th minute respectively.

Indian hockey team will now play against New Zealand in their second pool D match today in the Junior Hockey World Cup.
