The former T20 champion India and South Africa have been placed in the Group ‘C’ along with a qualifier team for the ICC T20 World Cup which will held in 2010 in West Indies.

The defending champion Pakistan has been placed in the Group ‘A’ with Bangladesh and Australia as other teams in the group.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2010 will commence on 30th April and the schedule for all the round matches has been announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday.

India will play their first match on May 1 with the qualifier team as the tournament will host 27 matches with semifinals to be played on 13th and 14th May and the grand finale will be played on 16th May.

The schedule for the ICC Women T20 World Cup has also been announced and all the eight teams have been divided into two groups.

India has been placed in Group ‘B’ with New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Pakistan has been placed in Group ‘A’ with England, Australia, the West Indies and South Africa.
