IFA Decides To Stay Out Of Contention Issue
The Indian Football Association (IFA) has failed to resolve the Bhaichung Bhutia’s suspension issue as All India Football Federation (AIFF) has referred this issue to the Players’ Status Committee (PSC) to keep itself away from this controversial issue.
As per the reports although, AIFF has decided to refer the issue to the PSC but it also asked about opinion of IFA on this issue.
The main reason behind IFA’s reluctance to take any decision on this issue was that they did not want to counteract against Mohun Bahan or East Bengal club.
A source said that on the request of the Bhutia, the skipper of Indian football team, the issue was sent to the PSC however, AIFF has also asked the IFA to let their opinion knew as IFA has decided to remain silent on this issue.
He added that the decision of PSC will be effected by IFA opinion as the letters containing their opinion have already been sent to PSC and now they will surely contact with IFA to discuss the whole matter.
