IBM Launches Global Security Operations Center In Bangalore
IBM has launched a new global security operations facility in India's Silicon Valley, Bangalore.
The technology giant opened this new unit with the intention to offer up the highest level of continuous protection and service to customers from around the world.
Adding to the network of IBM global security operations centers, this high-tech unit is constantly staffed with managed security services experts and members of the X-Force® security research and development group to provide instantaneous analysis and early warning notification of security events to over 4,000 managed security services clients globally.
IBM's new center represents a multimillion dollar investment to continue to strengthen its base in significant growth markets including India.
IBM runs eight other global security operations centers in Atlanta, Georgia; Detroit, Michigan; Boulder, Colorado, Toronto, Canada; Brussels, Belgium; Tokyo, Japan; Brisbane, Australia; and Hortolandia, Brazil. (With Inputs from Agencies)
