The sensational forecasting by the two leading news channels over the Big Bang theory has drawn notices from the  information and broadcasting (I&B) ministry.

According to the reliable sources the ministry has asked Aaj Tak and India TV to practice self-discipline while presenting such issues among the masses. The ministry has also issued promulgations for creating fear, horror and misinformation.

Even many people from media itself have criticized the role of the news channels for presenting scaring stories among the viewers. Commenting on this issue a media critic said, “The experiment has been the talking point everywhere for all the wrong reasons.”
    
It’s not the first time that I & B ministry has issued warnings to the TV channel. Earlier this year, two other channels, FTV and AXN were also pulled up for violating the programme code by the I&B ministry.
