The recent most circulating rumor claims that HP has trashed its plans to develop its Android Tablet and instead plans to move the resources towards its WebOS tablets.

According to the reports of AllThingsDigital sources report that HP's Android Slate has been put on hold and won't be arriving on the earlier mentioned schedule, instead will be shipped before the end of the year.

This indicates that the tablet is postponed or even likely has been scrapped.

This joins the news with LG that claims of losing out of Windows 7 tablet in regard of an Android model.

According to a report released by an LG source stated: "The Windows 7 tablet was always sort of a concept exercise and should never have gone public at Microsoft's stand at Computex. As you can imagine, Microsoft was very eager to show off this device even though it has never been green-lighted for production at LG."
