Homemade space Capsule launched by a couple of Danes

Homemade space Capsule launched by a couple of DanesTwo space enthusiasts in Denmark successfully launched their homemade 30-foot rocket from a boat in the Baltic Sea on Friday.

A non-profit space initiative founded by Danish inventors Kristian von Bengtson and Peter Madsen called, Copenhagen Suborbitals is behind the launch. The rocket went up about 2 miles into the air before deploying its parachute and falling into the water.

The capsule was mostly recovered except for some damages I suffered during its water landing. The launch was seen in a live broadcast on Danish TV. Their aim was to send the capsule to the height of 10 miles but was still collecting data from the launch.

This is the second attempt for the enthusiasts after a fuse marred last September's experiment. Bengtson and Madsen aim to finally put a human into their capsule and travel to space.
