Heather Mills denies controversial comments about cancerWashington, July 25 : Heather Mills has denied making controversial comments about cancer while holding a British newspaper responsible for cooking up quotes under her name in a recent interview.

Sir Paul McCartney''s ex-wife was previously alleged to have said that she was convinced certain journalists who had written lies about her in the past would get their comeuppance by getting cancer.

But the former glamour model, while hitting out at UK's tabloid media in a recent interview which ran in The Observer, dubbed the story as a bunch of "lies", insisting she never made the comments.

"Having lost my best friend to breast cancer, I cannot believe anybody would believe the moronic so-called journalists who say this!" Contactmusic quoted her as saying on her Twitter. com page.

"Can I reiterate for the gullible that believe lies in the press, I have never said I hope anybody dies of cancer ever," she added. (ANI)
