Hanover won't use part-time goalie Rosenthal again
Hanover, Germany - Midfielder Jan Rosenthal won't be used in the Hanover 96 goal again next weekend despite saving a penalty in the club's deepening crisis between the posts.
Germany goalkeeper Robert Enke has been out for months with a hand fracture and Florian Fromlowitz will most likely be suspended after being red-carded in Sunday's 2-1 loss at VfL Wolfsburg.
Rosenthal took over as goalkeeper for the final minutes of that match and saved a spot kick from Edin Dzeko. But coach Dieter Hecking said on Monday he has full faith in third-choice Morten Jensen who is due to play on the weekend. (dpa)
