Internet giant, Google is planning to woo television broadcaster for possible collaboration s in the internet based TV market.

Google executive chairman and former CEO Eric Schmidt is set to say in a speech to television broadcasters that Google is aiming to collaborate with the players and bring growth in the industry, according to a report.

The company has not had a good relationship with broadcasters and content providers and it faced lawsuits for offering content on its Google TV. Schmidt will be speaking to TV executives in Edinburgh. He believes that the company and TV broadcasters are natural partners.

Google has not disclosed the speech but some suggest that the company will start a programming fund for Tv broadcasters, where they will be able to bid to gain access to the funds.
