Hong Kong, May 23 - The gold price in Hong Kong went up 10 HK dollars to open at 12,000 HK dollars per tael Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,298.08 a troy ounce, up $1.08 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against 7.761 HK dollars. (IANS)
