Madrid  - Spanish Liga club Getafe Wednesday confirmed the signing of right-winger Pedro Leon from Valladolid.

According to the Spanish media, Getafe have paid Valladolid around four million euros (5.72 million dollars) for the Spanish Under-21 international.

He will sign a five-year contract with Getafe, whose coach, former Real Madrid star Michel, has been trying to buy him all summer.

Leon, 22, spent just one season at Valladolid, after joining from Murcia in 2008. (dpa)
