German interior minister to hold talks in India
Berlin - German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble will travel to India on December 12 for talks focused on cooperation in the fight against terrorism, a government spokesman said Friday.
He is scheduled to meet India's new home affairs minister, Palaniappan Chidambaram, among others.
Chidambaram, a former finance minister, replaced Shivraj Patil, who stepped down as home minister following last week's terrorist attacks on Mumbai, which left more than
170 dead. (dpa)
