'Garuda' To Hit Road Soon!

A group of eight students from the RV College of Engineering in Bangalore has developed an economical car. This car is capable to provide mileage of 180 kilometers per liter. The new car can prove to be very useful for medium level consumers as global crude oil pries are increasing day by day. The car is an outcome of "PROJECT GARUDA- RVCE SUPERMILEAGE CAR" by the department of mechanical engineering of college.

The new car is powered by 97cc Honda GK 100 engine. The entire layout of car is released by top car designer Dilip Chhabria in Banglore. The car is given a special name Garuda. The car is provided with 2 HP air cooled engine. It supports TAV 2 Torq_A-Verter, asymmetric CVT transmission systems and Tubular A1 6063 T6 chassis. The team leader of project, Mr.  Nishant Sarawagi said that the car will at the SAE Super mileage and Shell, United States, and Eco-Marathans, United Kingdom.

The car is expected to give high mileage of 180 kilometers per liter which can be further increased. The overall efficiency of car is tested at the NICE corridor.
