Former players blame PCB for slumps
Former Pakistan players have blamed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for defeat of Pakistan team in the ongoing Sri Lankan tour. They have asked selectors and team management to take responsibility for this slump against Sri Lankan team in ODI and test series.
Pakistan, who defeated Sri Lanka in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup earlier this year, has not won a single match yet as they lost three test match series 2-0 and now they are trailing y 3-0 in the five ODI matches series against Sri Lanka.
Former Pakistan skipper Amir Sohail said that PCB has not clear plans in their mind and they have taken some wrong decisions like playing make shift openers even when they have two regular opener in their squad and as a result they have lost ODI series now.
Another former captain, Zaheer Abbas, said that there has been mismanagement in the PCB due to which they lost hosting rights of Champions Trophy and 2011 World and this weakness of board was hidden by the T20 World Cup win.
