It has been revealed according to a recent revelation that the investment opportunities in the past year were not according what favored one and all. It has been revealed by the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee that there shall e better times coming for investment in the latter part of the year.

There is a major advantage that India has had in being able to attract foreign investment. This is because the recovery process of a number of countries in terms of economy is relatively slow.

This is changing though, with the emerging economic slump. "There will be improvement. To what extent it will go, nobody can predict. Investable resources are limited”, said Mr. Mukherjee. He further added that heavy rains have been able to bring a boost to the agricultural sector of the nation and that this shall "create the sentiment in the market for larger accumulations”.

He did not give any comments on the topic of whether India shall tighten its monetary policy to curb inflation or not. He said that they shall make the necessary amendments as and when required. He was of the view that there shall be a close check kept on the market to see what changes are required.
