‘Foreign hands’ creating trouble in region : NWFP CM

‘Foreign hands’ creating trouble in region : NWFP CMPeshawar, Aug. 15 : North West Frontier Province (NWFP) Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti has reiterated that ‘foreign hands’ were involved in creating trouble in the region.

Addressing a gathering at a flag-hoisting ceremony here, Hoti said he has specific information that foreign countries are fuelling unrest in the province.

“I have confirmation that foreign hands are involved in the insurgency,” The Daily Times quoted Hoti, as saying.

He, however, did not name the ‘foreign hands’.

It may be noted that Pakistan has accused India of fanning the Baloch insurgency.

Islamabad claimed that New Delhi is running a terror training camp in Kabul to train militants to carry out subversive acts against Pakistan.

India has denounced all such allegations, terming them as ‘baseless’ (ANI)
