Fair Law Act Too Restrictive for Australian Economy

Fair Law Act Too Restrictive for Australian EconomyPeter Reith, previous minister of Howard, has appealed for removal of the frightening aspect of WorkChoices. In the National Press Club meeting, Mr. Reith discussed the Government's Fair Work Act and revealed about the policies being followed from last 2 decades.

He emphasized on regulating and supervising the system for errors. The WorkChoices was found quiet controversial for the collaborated government in 2007. The policy is treated as a monster, as it resulted in putting the jobs of many employees at stake and was opposed by the opposition leaders and the labor party.

As per Mr. Reith, "I think it's about time they grew out of it and started getting back into the real debate, which is not about it's about fixing the real problems". The government is planning to conduct an assessment on the Fair Work Act in the coming year.

According to Economist Judith Sloan, the guidelines of the Fair Work Law act were quiet complicated and lengthy. The measures implied to improve the policy will be futuristic and will be a tough blow to Australian Economy.

Therefore, it was unreasonable to restrain the economy of Australia with laws which were exhaustive and dominant in nature.
