Aaron Sorkin, an Oscar winner has quitted the social networking site – Facebook. Aaron Sorkin was awarded Oscar for Facebook drama “The Social Network” in February. Sorkin made it public during a discussion that he has left Facebook. He said that he made the account for the making of the film but now he has left it.

Although he has made a wonderful film but his opinions are quite contrary to his film. He was reported saying, “I have a lot of opinions on social media that make me sound like a grumpy old man sitting on the porch yelling at kids”.

The film was based upon Mark Zuckerberg, who created the website while studying at Harvard, then battled two lawsuits from aggrieved former colleagues. The movie won Oscars for its editing, score and screenplay. It has been told that the screenplay was adapted by Sorkin from Ben Mezrich’s non-fiction book, the Accidental Billionaires.

It is not just Sorkin who is skeptical over the use of Facebook; there are other film stars who share the same belief. It has been revealed that the film’s star, Jesse Eisenberg, who joined Facebook under a false name during the production left it soon after the completion of movie.
