Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg doing public appearances galore
Amid the falling Facebook stock and the increasing number of lawsuits tarnishing the social network's image, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is on a `public appearance' spree of late, apparently to project that everything is hunky-dory at the company!
Zuckerberg's recent public appearances - with one following the other - come after a few `quiet' months after Facebook's slipshod IPO attempt. He began making rounds in the public especially after the tech startup-centric TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco in September.
Marking his ongoing attempts to be in the public eye, Zuckerberg will make his latest public appearance on the `Today Show' which will be aired on Thursday, and will have the Facebook CEO interviewed by Matt Lauer.
In fact, other than his public appearances in the US, Zuckerberg is also making public appearances overseas. During his recent Russia visit, he did three public appearances --- he met with the country's prime minister; appeared on a late-night TV show; and delivered a talk for students at Moscow State University.
With the TechCrunch-conference appearance being Zuckerberg's first public appearance since the Facebook IPO in May, he maintained a cool and calm composure at the conference, and largely stuck to his two key talking points --- the Facebook IPO debacle; and the social network's continues efforts to work out ways to reap profits off mobile!
