Valletta, Malta  - An Ethiopian Airlines jet with 187 passengers on board on Sunday made an emergency landing in Malta after one of its engines failed.

The Boeing 757 was on a flight from Addis Ababa to Rome's Fiumicino airport when the captain decided to divert to the Mediterranean island where the plane landed safely.
