EIH first quarter net loss at Rs 15.93 crore
East India Hotels (EIH) has declared its first quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11 and it has informed that there has been a net loss in the quarter under review. East India Hotels (EIH) runs the famous Oberoi hotels and resorts in India.
The company has suffered a net loss of 15.93 crore for June quarter of the current financial year. The net profit of the firm was reported to be Rs 19.05 crore for the same quarter last year.
Hence there has been a huge decline in the net profit figure of the company this time against last year's record.
The total income of the company has also been declined. There has been a 6.3% decline in the total income of the company during the April-June period of fiscal year 2010 as compared to its like period a year ago.
The company's total income is Rs 20.5 crore in Q1 this year against Rs 21.9 crore in the similar period last year. EIH has informed this in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
