Egypt to meet Hong Kong in WSC final

World Squash Championships Egypt will clash with Hong Kong in the final match of the junior girls' team World Squash Championships (WSC) after ousting United States and India in their respective semifinal matches on Friday.

Hong Kong China ended the campaign of the host Indian team by defeating India 2-1 in the semifinal. Dipika Pallikal of India won her match to give Indian team lead of 1-0. Dipika outplayed Tzs Ling Lu in four games.

But Anwesha Reddy was unable to capitalize on the perfect start provided by Deepika as she lost her match against Tsz Wing Tong. Surbhi Misra also went down to Ka Man Lee in the decider as Indian team lost match by 2-1. Egypt won the match against American team to storm into the finals of the tournament.

Indian team will now play against U. S team in the third place playoff on Saturday.
