Education Should Be Made Accessible To Everyone, Says Aamir Khan
Top Bollywood actor Aamir Khan said that education is the base for all things so it should be made accessible to each and every person.
Mr. Perfectionist said, "For me, education is the big idea. I think that it's the base for everything. When I say education, I mean education for all. When I say education, I also mean not just teaching the children any one particular subject but allowing them to bloom."
At an event to launch the special anniversary issue of Forbes magazine, the actor said that education means realizing the exclusivity of each child, and assisting every kid to grow.
The 44-year-old actor also said that the major change in the country would happen only when each and every kid in the country would get proper education and an improved quality of teaching.
"India is a vast country and I know it is not easy but that will be the big change. I think when every child in India gets education and a certain quality of education... what I mean by quality is really the kind of teachers we have, or the kind of teaching we do," he added.
He also said that to achieve this objective, it's up to people of the country.
"How much value as a society we give to teaching and if we give a lot of value to teaching, then the teaching will also improve," he added. (With Inputs from Agencies)
