London, Dec 17 : Duffy will soon be seen as the new face of Diet Coke, for the popstar has signed a 6-figure deal with the company.

The 24-year-old, real name Aimee Anne Duffy, was chosen for her "raw and edgy" character, according to bosses.

"We're delighted Duffy's on board. She's ideal to reach our target audience in the teen and twenties age ranges," the Sun quoted a source, as saying.

Duffy was intentionally chosen to be the face of the campaign in a bid to move away from typical Diet Coke ads with stick-thin models and chiselled hunks. (ANI)
