Health expert and host of American television show The Dr. Oz Show, Dr. Mehmet Oz, helped two individuals in New Jersey Turnpike who met with an accident. After the accident, emergency responders were informed about the accident. According to the responders, they were happy to hear that a doctor was already on the scene, but they were surprised to know that the doctor on the scene was Dr. Mehmet Oz.

According to reports, the celebrity doctor decided to stop at the scene and help the victim. During the time of the accident, Dr. Mehmet Oz was in New Jersey Turnpike. After seeing the situation, he stopped his vehicle and immediately ran back to help the injured individuals.

On Tuesday, the Westampton Township Emergency Services posted a picture on social networking website Facebook where Dr. Oz was seen with an emergency officer. In the caption, it posted that over the weekend the Westampton Township Emergency Services responded to a serious MVA at New Jersey Turnpike.

"The crew on #Squad2723 arrived on location and found a Doctor triaging (assessing) the patients. Dr. Oz was not involved in the accident but stopped and gave care to the patients until emergency crews arrived to treat and transport the patients to the hospital", it added.

While talking about the incident, Westampton Chief Jason Carty said that Dr. Oz was very professional and helpful while helping the victims. When emergency responders arrived, he gave a thorough report of the victims' injuries. Carty said that the two victims suffered some minor injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.

According to Emergency responders, Dr. Mehmet Oz helped a lot by treating the injured people in a weekend car crash.
