The former India captain and the current member of the IPL governing council, Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi has said that it is not going to be easy for the suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi to return to the tournament.  

The former Chairman and Commissioner of IPL, Lalit Modi has been charged to several cases including financial impropriety, improper management of franchise bidding and media rights etc. The BCCI has issued a show-cause notice to him but he has not yet responded to the notice.

Hence it is expected that lot more is still left in this controversy.  

Mr. Pataudi has informed the media that the answer of the notice is awaited and the BCCI is yet to judge that. Modi had not informed the BCCI yet on these issues. Moreover, his style of functioning is not satisfactory and lot of people had problem with it. So whatever may be the decision, but return of Modi to IPL again is doubtful. He has also said that the tournament will continue growing in coming years.
