Dhoni, Yuvraj retain their ODI rankings
Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and stylish batsman Yuvraj Singh have continued to head the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen. Dhoni is placed at the top spot while Yuvraj Singh follows him to be at the second place in the latest ICC ODI rankings released on Tuesday.
Sachin Tendulkar and Indian aggressive opener Virender Sehwag are the other Indian batsmen in the top ten ODI batsmen. Sachin is placed at seventh spot while Sehwag is ranked 9th. Among the all-rounders, Yuvraj retained his second place with 362 rating points while Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan occupied top spot with 427 rating points.
Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara is leading the ICC ODI rankings for bowlers while New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori and Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh are placed at second and third place respectively. Zaheer Khan, ranked 17th, is only Indian bowler to make into top 20 ODI bowlers.
South African team is heading the ICC ODI rankings for team followed by India. Australian team slipped to third place after losing seventh match of the Nat West series against England.
